Yes.: There are a variety of medications available for the treatment of add or adhd. A thorough evaluation will allow a physician to rule out other conditions that may be mistaken for add symptoms or to subtype the particular variant of add. Proper evaluation allows for proper framing of the problem and will hopefully result in judicious use of medication to bring about symptom remission.
