Possibly: Most of the time however even an autopsy will not give an answer in this situation. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss: An autopsy is often helpful, but a choice made from your heart at the time cannot really have been the wrong one. Your obstetrician has some information, and the external and physical examination of your child, imaging and labs will give the needed data. I'm a pathologist and have devoted my life to helping people understand illness -- wish i could have been there to help. God bless you.
