Ophthalmology 52 years experience
Many: Eyes age like the rest of the body but function is affected commonly. As the lens advances the color perception subtely is altered and later cataracts can occur. Overall light sensitivity drops and recovery from bright exposure is slower. Dseases of more advanced age include macular degeneration, advanced diabetes changes and glaucoma.
