A member asked:

How long would you be in the hospital with punctured lung?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A few days: Pneumothorax, or a collapsed lung is usually treated by hospitalization. This usually requires that a chest tube be inserted into the chest to reinflate the lung. Recovery time varies, but is usually only a few days.
