Discuss w/doc: Your GI doc may want to modify the regimen on the day of the procedure by having you delay or skip a dose, but it depends on the meds, if any sedation will be used, and your other conditions. This is a common question and is best asked directly of the performing clinician.

Medications: Yes, you should. Ideally with just few sips or water and at least 2-3 hours earlier than you procedure.
