Add Magnesium: Most of us are deficient in magnesium and calcium. Get a chelated form of magnesium that is less likely to affect bowel function like magnesium glycinate which is the best absorbed. Start with two caps 2 x daily and increase as needed. Add some calcium citrate to that - 500-1000mg 2 times daily. Dietary - avoid smoking, caffeine , and alcohol which can wrosen them.

Menstrual cramps?: NSAID’s, SSRI’s, hormone meds, OTC meds containing diuretics, warm bath, heating pad, exercise & acupuncture are excellent for dysmenorrhea. Avoid caffeine, chocolate, alcohol & salt. Get GYN eval to R/O underlying pathology. Consider omega- 3 fatty acids, magnesium (supplementation or through diet) or Black Cohosh with dr ok. Sipping Chamomile can dissipate pain.
