Probably not: Unless you have asthma this is unlikely to be dangerous. There is probably swelling in your throat or windpipe that is causing you to have this. If sore throat is bad or if you are feeling short of breath you could have a serious throat infection and you should see a doctor asap.

Maybe: If you have fever with those symptoms i would see your md. It may be just a bad cold and the vibrations is just mucous but probably getting it checked would be a good idea.
