Muscle pain normal: Vigorous workouts safely strain muscles throughout your body depending upon which exercise you partake in. Generalized muscle achiness for 1-2 days after working out can be quite normal and should subside within 3 days. Make sure you are also getting plenty of rest for muscle recuperation, and eat well. Most important of all-- drink plenty of water.
