Test Rotator Cuff: There are a number of structures behind the shoulder. One is the rotator cuff muscle. When a rotator cuff tear occurs, pain can manifest in the muscle portion on the shoulder blade. A rotator cuff repair may end up being necessary. It can also just be the shoulder blade stabilizer muscles, in which case, stretching and exercises would help. An evaluation would be helpful to isolate the problem.
