What are the signs and symptoms of early menopause?

Same as regular: Occurring before the age of 40, the cessation of menses for at least one year is considered premature ovarian insufficiency (failure sounds so judgey!). Symptoms may include hot flashes, vaginal dryness, fatigue, loss of libido, mood changes, weight gain. If you are much younger than the average age of 52 at menopause, definitely see your doc to make of sure what is going on.
