A member asked:

Is a heart angiogram anything to worry about?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes..but..: Any procedure has risk. It is a matter of trade-off between risk vs benefit. If the benefit is much more than the risk, then worrying will not be helpful. Be at peace to yourself that you will achieve your goals about knowing the disease and its severity and whether therapeutic action, medical or surgical, is needed. Take comfort in the thought that risk of angiogram is relatively inconsequential.
