All of them.: Dental aesthetics are all basically the same. It depends on your general health as o what might be chosen. Also some dental aesthetics hang around longer than others so you can hold off any pain that may come a little longer if you and the doctor decide that. Earl.

Several: There are basically four ways to have third molars or wisdom teeth removed. Local anesthetic, nitrous oxide and local anesthetic, office based intravenous anesthesia with local anesthetic, and finally, hospital or surgical center general anesthesia. You can discuss these with your dentist and decide which would be best for you.

Talk to Dentist: Most teeth extractions can be done under local anesthesia with a cooperative patient. If there are especially impacted teeth then some sedation might be indicated. It is rare that a full general anesthetic would be needed for dental extraction. If you have concerns please contact your dentist and discuss these fears with him. Good luck.

Depends: It depends on many factors: medical issues, cost, insurance coverage, patient compliance, patient apprehension, if the wisdom teeth are impacted, if the wisdom teeth are infected etc. The best doctor to talk to is an oral surgeon who sedate and removes wisdom teeth everyday. Usually sedation is recommended to patients to have their wisdom teeth removed.
