"Significant" block: Infer you have had an imaging study, using exercise or a pharmacologic agent to induce or provoke ischemia, and then using an imaging agent like a radioactive tracer, to show blood flow distribution. Subtracting a resting image from the "stress" image shows what areas have inadequate blood flow. Since the blood comes from the coronary arteries, a reversible image implies partial, not total, block.
