What are the best treatments for peripheral neuropathy in feet?

Painful or painless?: Painful neuropathy is often treated with drugs such as Neurontin and lyrica, (pregabalin) among others. Painless neuropathy is often not treated simply because it isn't noticed as much. There is evidence that some medical foods with bioavailable forms of Folic Acid or thiamine have made some strides in improving nerve health. Treatment modalities like anodyne can also work. All results are variable.
