is vomiting a symptom due to a thyroid problem?

Not usually: Never say never, but....Probably not.
High thyroid levels often cause weight loss, jitters, heart palpitations, trouble sleeping, heat intolerance
low thyroid levels often cause weight gain, hair loss, cold intolerance, fatigue, etc
persistent vomiting is obviously a problem, get it checked out.
