Chronic painful Dz: Rsd is a chronic progressive condition characterized by pain, swelling, temperature/ color changes of the affected extremity. The pain can spread to the unaffected side. It most often involves an arm or leg but can affect knees, abdomen and the face. The condition responds best to treatment if given early after symptom onset.
