Not particularly: Turmeric and its constituent curcumin is a wonderful herb with many healing properties- it is anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, thins blood, supports liver detox, protects against cancer & alzheimer's etc. But I do not consider it to be a strong antibiotic. While it may kill fungi & bacteria in the lab & be useful topically, I do not advise it for infections. See www.Turmeric.8m.Com/uses.Html.
