anyone know how long the hiv virus can live in semen?

Varies: It depends upon physical factors like how rapidly the semen dries, the temperature, where the semen is deposited, etc. This virus seldom survives long outside of the body unless it has a cell carrier. Semen can provide that as long as it remains wet.
