No risk, no worry: Nobody has ever been known to catch HIV through a contaminated environment. You will be at risk if and when you are sexually acrive or if you use drugs by injection and share needles with other persons. Otherwise no risk and no worries. (Since no cases are acquired this way, the biological reasons don't matter. HIV dies when blood or secretions die, but there may be other reasons as well.)
