Possibly: Many different problems can cause bloody bowel movements, including cancer, hemorrhoids, colitis, etc. Nevertheless, it is safest to assume that it's cancer until proven otherwise and see your doctor as soon as possible.

Need an Evaluation: Blood in your bowel movements can be a sign of a serious problem although it is not always cancer. This needs to be evaluated by your physician.
