Possibly: That is why ganglion cysts are called "bible cysts". It will hurt just to let you know. Depends on the size of the bible and not the version or old vs new testament.

The reason the Bible is recommended is that years ago, the Bible was the largest book a family owned. I wouldn't recommend it

It might,don't do it: This is an old treatment, and the bible was typically used because it was the biggest book in the house. I typically treat dorsal ganglions or those on top of your hand with aspiration and steroid injection and those on the ventral surface or underside with surgical excision.
