Use IPI/FLIPI Score: The prognosis of nhl (non-hodgkin lymphoma) is better defined by a score called the international prognostic index (ipi) for aggressive nhl or follicular ipi (flipi) for low grade nhl. Age, performance status, stage, extra nodal sites, ldh value, hemoglobin, Albumin are figured into the score which categorizes pts into low, intermediate or high risk for relapse or poor survival.

All depends: Depending on type of lymphoma, stage, over all physical condition, organ function, age etc, but in general hope is good if can get chemo.
