hodgkin's lymphoma - is radiation or chemotherapy what doctors usually recommend?

It depends: In the past the role for each was very clear and a one size fits all kind of idea. Currently there a very good guidelines for the role of each treatment. Chemotherapy is used more often than radiation. The initial stage (amount of cancer) and symptoms determine how much chemo and if radiation is needed.
