History: Agree with above answer. Hodgkin's lymphoma is named after sir thomas hodgkin, a british pathologist who first described abnormalities in the lymph system in 1832. First known as "hodgkin's disease" now called "hodgkin's lymphoma" it is characterized by multinucleated "reed–sternberg" cell. Radiation therapy was the first to cure hodgkin's even prior to the development of multiagent chemotherapy.
