Large contacts; yes: Scleral lenses have a large diameter and the edge rests completely on the white of the eye. The lens bridges over the cornea and doesn't contact it. A layer of tears floats between the lens and cornea. These lenses can be made in such a way that they partially prop up the upper eyelid, correcting some ptosis.
