A member asked:

In a traumatic eye injury why is the un-injured eye covered up also?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Prevent movement: Occasionally, this would be done if you were worried about movement of the eye causing further damage, since they both always move together. Covering both eyes would lessen searching eye movements.
