Not likely: Post traumatic amnesia (PTA) is a state of memory impairment that occurs immediately following a traumatic brain injury. This memory loss can be retrograde (loss of memory for events preceding the injury) or anterograde (difficulty formulating new memories after the injury). By definition, you have to have experienced a head injury to get PTA.
