Does my baby have gerd?

No: Many babies will spit up. Those who have excessive amounts, who are often fussy during or after feeds, or who aren't growing well may have gerd, but other conditions could cause such symptoms. Have your pediatrician take a look to determine if GERD is the issue and if it needs any special treatment.

No: Likely not. Even though there is no way to tell without details, it is unlikely. Remember that all babies have reflux - they all spit up. This is why we all buy burp cloths and bibs before we have a baby. But very few have true reflux disease. This only occurs if more severe problems happen like severe pain with spitting or poor weight gain. If you have those symptoms talk with your doctor.
