Maybe: There are many possible causes of tingling in the hands. A medication side effect by atenolol is one of them. Other possibilities include hyperventilation during anxiety attacks, carpal tunnel, or other neuropathies. Visit your primary to have it checked out.

Possibly: Atenolol, a member of the beta blocker family of drugs, has been associated with paresthesias (tingling sensation). See the prescribing doc to discuss this possible side effect. Other possibility could be carpal tunnel syndrome. Doc with re-evaluate your condition & suggest options for treatment. May need a different family of bp/heart med, or, if cts, may need NSAID & change in work habits.
