Went to dentist and got lidocaine, septocaine, and nitrous oxide. is this a normal combination?

Yes: Using local anesthetic and nitrous oxide together usually increases the chances that the patient will be more relaxed for their dental appointment.

Depends: There are a number of dentists who use that combination for their patients.

Yes: Septocaine onset is rapid, Lidocaine last longer but takes longer to act. Nitrous causes relaxation, so makes anesthetics work better. Good approach, in my opinion.
