Is it possible to be resistant to the "caine" pain medications. i can not get the doctors to believe that these don't work on me?

Interesting: I have never heard of anyone being totally resistant to these medications, although I have heard of patients having different responses to different analogs (i.e. Lidocaine working less than mupivicaine). How many times have you been injected with them and for what purpuse?
