A doctor has provided 1 answer

causes visceral/hyp: I n many cases it starts after a viral illness or other infection or insult to the GI tract. This causes temporary damage to the mucus lining of stomach, causing pain, it then sensitises the stomach and other parts of intestine and cause abdominal pain. Other conditions like abdominal migraine, pancreatitis, and esophageal reflux may trigger this condition, and it can happen in other visceras as well.
