Visceral Hyperalgesi: is another (fancy) was of decribing "Sensitive Bowels" a term which is old fashioned and used to describe a WIDE RANGE of Bowel disorders presenting as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (or IBS). See a GI Doc with an interest in this disorder which NOW has a number of excellent treatments! Hope this helps! DrZ
