What's the difference between a yag & an argon laser?

YAG vs Argon lasers: Differences in wavelength relegate the different lasers to different (tissue) applications. Appropriate pairing of wavelength and different tissue characteristics (absorption) result in tissue vaporization vs coagulation; some lasers are used for tattoo removal, vaporization/resection of tumors, fragmentation of stones.
