Many applications: There are a number of different types of yag lasers. These are designed for different uses. Some are used inside the eye. Some are used to treat vascular (blood vessel lesions) and some are used for skin rejuvenation and others as well.

YAG laser uses: The yag laser is used for eye procedures as noted by dr chang. Depending on wavelength, the yag laser is also used for vascular lesions like spider veins and telangiectasias, as well as tattoo removal, skin tightening, and hair removal.
