Eye dryness: When the tear flow is lowered or the composition of tears is deficient in wetting agents and oils, the eye can get dry and the technical term for that is xerophthalmia. The common symptoms are overflow tears, redness, itching, crusting, light sensitivity and sometimes lowered vision. Check with your ophthalmologist to get into a good therapeutic progression.
