Read below: The classical visual loss is sudden diminution of vision in one eye usually accompanied by some pain. This could be mild or severe and may reverse to normal vision by steroids or spontaneously. Diplopia, eventual significant visual loss in both eyes can occur in some cases.

Optic neuritis: Not uncommon is a rapid decrease in unilateral vision associated with pain and decreased color intensity. Double vision can occur and sometimes objects seem to jump around. Any of these problems should be addressed asap by your neurologist.
