Several weeks: The size of the varicocele (enlargement of the veins) will decrease in several weeks. Embolization can be used if surgical approaches are contra-indicated as success rates with surgery are higher. I would wait at least 4-6 weeks or longer based on the nature of the regular workout regimen.
