A member asked:

Does going to an allergist to get diagnosed with allergies hurt, sting, etc..?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not much: A good allergy nurse should be able to perform the procedure without any more discomfort than an insect bite. That said, every patient's tolerance to pain is different. I suggest you let the nurse know if what she is doing is too uncomfortable for you.
