Has anybody else been tested for igg antibody food allergies? i thought allergies were ige?

Different types: There are actually 5 (and probably more) antibody responses to infection or allergens: igg, igm, iga, igd, and ige. Our IgM and igg antibodies are usually produced in response to infection; ige antibodies usually produced in response to allergic reactions.
