No: I'm not aware of evidence from any well done study that indicates vitamin k supplements improve varicose veins. The most useful measures that you can do include wearing compression stockings, good aerobic activity like walking or biking, avoidance of hot baths, and maintenance of proper weight. Some supplements such as venostat may reduce symptoms due to veins, but won't clear the veins.

Not at all: Despite the claims that you will read that state otherwise, vitamin k supplements have no effect on varicose veins whatsoever, as drs. Hansen and zimmett said. If you have varicose veins that you want to do something about, you should see a vein specialist/phlebologist.

Yes it is OK: The purpose of the evlt procedure is to close the incompetent saphenous vein. The blood breakdown products in the vein is an acute thrombus and is the goal of the treatment and part of the healing process. It should not however extend into the common femoral vein. If you are experiencing pain, you may obtain relief with wearing a compression stocking.

Several options: Intense pulsed light (photofacial) can close tiny red facial veins. Other methods are radiofrequency needle or sclerotherapy injections. Multiple sessions are needed. They all can work .Chose doctor who can use two or three different options so that the best option is available. Use adequate sunscreen to reduce sun damage (veins) on the face.
