A member asked:

How is nut allergy testing and de-sensitizing done? orally? shots?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nut Allergy: Testing for nut allergy can be done either by skin test or by blood testing. There is no currently available desensitization for nuts, outside of that being done for clinical research. If someone offers you nut allergy desensitization, be very skeptical.
