Post nasal drip: It is annoying to be sure. It can irritate the back of the throat and collect giving a cough. Thats about the worse it does.

More-so Annoying: Post-nasal drip is not serious in itself, but it can exacerbate serious problems, primarily in those patients with underlying lung disease like asthma or COPD (chronic bronchitis or emphysema).
