Feeling worse today. went to er 2 nights ago for ab pain and nausea cause ultrasound showed a little enlarged area of appendix. er did ct scan and said everything looked normal.on antibiotics to treat uti. could ct scan missed something?

Its Possible : No test is absolutely perfect and conditions can change over time. A study that looked normal previously could look different as time goes by. If you are feeling worse now than before then its best to go back and seek further evaluation and treatment or an exam to reassure that everything is either okay & stay the course or try a different approach.

? Urine culture +ve: Check with er about urine culture. You shouldn't be feeling worse if u have a UTI & are on appropriate antibiotic. Your antibiotic may need to be changed. Was ct read by radiologist or er dr?. Maybe final x-ray report has been revised. Similar to answering u before, advise you to see dr or return to er in case of appendicitis + have a rectal exam + possibly repeat ultrasound.
