Fluids & antibiotics: Typhoid fever is an illness with high fever, abdominal pain and diarrhea. It is spread by poor hygiene, and is more common in certain areas of the world. If you contract typhoid fever you are likely to be admitted to the hospital, receive either oral or IV rehydration therapy and antibiotics. Nonetheless you will stil be very uncomfortable. There are two different vaccines available to protect.
