Pleuritic pain: Pain such as this is termed pleuritic and is often related to muscle or nerve irritation in the chest wall or in the lining of the lung. This pain is often concerning to patients but is very rarely related to anything of significance if it is intermittent and brief. Anything else should prompt a visit to your doc for evaluation.
