Specialist letter: Would probably need a letter from a psychiatric specialist or even your primary care doctor using a thorough review of all that has happened to you to link the w/comp injury to the current mental health symptoms. It is often a post traumatic syndrome or depression caused by the loss of function, work capacity, etc.

Dr Mantz: provided excellent advice. I think that the memorandum would need to clearly tie in the multiple surgeries, pain, job repercussions & life changes to your current depressive symptoms.
