WLS coverage: I am surprised you were "denied" weight loss surgery, in most programs you would qualify based on your BMI. An operation could help you lose about 60% of your excess body weight, or about 94#, with the rest lost through your ongoing commitments to dietary and lifestyle changes. Unfortunately, insurance coverage varies and sometimes people have to pay out of pocket for WLS.
