Depends: On the weather and health of child. Standard would be 2-4 oz of water. If weather is hot then maybe up to 8 oz. If child is a picky eater and hard to feed, then 2-3 oz a day. Water is empty calories and can be filling so a small and "underweight" child would want calories..Diluted milk with water would help too. Extra water is great...But do not stress if your child doesn't love it.
