Far-sightedness and presbyopia, are they the same except for age of onset?

NO: Farisightedness is when the eye has a positive prescription. Young and old can be farsighted. Usually, far sighted people can't see at distance or near without spectacles. Presbyopia is an age related change in the structure of the eye which happens to us all, usually starting after age 40. Good luck.
